This Ullet Road Unitarian Church Wedding is from last October, and it will always have a special significance for me as it was the wedding I switched to using prime lenses! Helen & Panos are really into their dancing and are members of a Salsa dancing club, they had invited quite a few of the other members to the wedding. It really was beautiful to watch Helen & Panos dance as they looked in a perfect state of bliss the whole time. I loved that the happy couple chose to have their own plans for their wedding day, rather than doing all the usual stuff. I am very glad I captured the connection between them as they danced. The Ullet Road Unitarian Church is a very beautiful Church with stunning rooms connected to the church. If you look at some of the photographs in one of the main rooms there are beautiful frescoes painted on the ceiling. Such a beautiful and unusual Liverpool wedding venue. As well as capturing the bride & groom’s day, as a documentary wedding photographer, I try and capture as much of your friends and family who all have a little story of their own. So as you would expect with Panos also being Greek, there was a lot of dancing in the evening, with nearly everybody in the room joining in which was great to watch.
