It was ace being the wedding photographer for Tony & Mi’s The Venue Royal Liver building wedding. A recent addition to the amazing list of great Liverpool wedding venues, it really was a pleasure to shoot Mi & Tony’s special day. Tony & Mi were having their wedding at the same time as the giants were visiting Liverpool and we had a balcony view of the little boy and the dog in the afternoon! With fab wedding venues like the Venue to photograph, It’s a real buzz to be a Liverpool wedding photographer.
The Venue Royal Liver Building Wedding Photos
The bride had her bridal preparations with her bridesmaids in the venues own bridal suite. With help from her bridesmaids and family, the big day was off to a great start. The bridal suite is light and airy which is perfect to have their wedding hair and make-up. I love photographing in the Venue because it has lots of big windows letting in loads of lovely light. Combined with a great moment and composition and we have some great photographs from the day. Liverpool is such a great city to get married and here are 5 Reasons To Get Married in Liverpool.
As the excitement was building in the ceremony room, the groom and best man were kept busy greeting the guests and showing them to their seats. At the same time, the bride was putting on her wedding dress in anticipation of the big day! She gave some lovely gifts to her bridesmaids, which earned her some big hugs and a few tears. Wedding Ceremony At The Venue
There is always a big hush in the ceremony room as the bride walks in with her father, every eye in the room on her as she walks towards her future husband. Its ace to capture the moment when the bride and groom greet each other and the big moment has finally arrived. Tony & Mi had some special friends who had formed a band for the occasion. They played some great music as the bride entered the room. I loved capturing a tear from the father of the groom during the wedding vows and the happy couple had asked Jiacomo and Valentina to have the honour of being the ring bearers for the exchange of rings.
After walking back down the aisle as the newlyweds it was time for lots of hugs and congratulations from friends and family! It was a beautiful sunny day so during the drinks reception the guests gathered outside the entrance to the Liver building for the family group shots. We managed to capture some beautiful couple portraits and took a stroll over to the little boy through the crowds. The newlyweds were congratulated by loads of well-wishers who had come to see the giants that day!
Photographing a Wedding With Some Chinese Culture
The happy couple were welcomed into the wedding breakfast room to loads of applause from the guests, before sitting down and enjoying the meal. We had the perfect vantage point on the balcony to watch the giant boy and dog walk right past the building. After the amazing speeches by all concerned, if you are a groom here’s How To Give a Great Groom’s Speech. soon after there was a Chinese tea ceremony (It was my first!) and we also had an amazing Lion dance. It wasn’t long after we cut the cake and the first dance with what was one of the most eventful wedding days I have photographed. I loved the tea ceremony and the lion dance was fantastic! It was real joy photographing Tony & Mi’s The Venue Royal Liver Building wedding. If you are getting married at The Venue I would love to hear from you.
