Liverpool Outdoor Wedding Venues
Do you want something a little different in your wedding photographs? Being a Liverpool Wedding photographer takes me to some amazing locations and there is nothing I love more than taking photographs of happy couples during an outdoor wedding ceremony.
You are getting married in Liverpool and you want to say “I do” in the open air? Do you love the feel of the wind in your hair, the smell of the freshly cut lawn, the beautiful scents of summer flowers? You need an outdoor wedding ceremony!
You wouldn’t say Liverpool is the home of outdoor venues but you might be surprised how many wedding venues in Liverpool give you the opportunity to tie the knot to a soundtrack of beautiful bird song and the hum of bees. Although some of these venues are not strictly Liverpool they are in or around Merseyside (Same thing!) Why should you get married in Liverpool? The great thing about the wedding venues listed is the option to take the ceremony indoors if the worst happens (you know what the British weather is like!).
Garden of Eden
I’m kicking off with the most unusual outdoor setting. The Garden of Eden venue sits on top of the Shankly Hotel overlooking the Liverpool Skyline. With a massive roof terrace featuring panoramic views around the city centre, the Garden of Eden looks stunning in your wedding photographs. Saying your wedding vows under the blue skies of Liverpool doesn’t get any cooler!! The Garden of Eden is the only rooftop wedding venue in the UK which will make your wedding day even more special.
Palm House Sefton Park
Do you want to tie the knot in a mini tropical paradise? How does a stunning Grade II Victorian glasshouse grab you? It’s summer all year round in The Palm House Sefton Park and this amazing venue is home to 20 different species of palm and over 32 species of Orchids. Although not strictly outdoors it’s almost the same thing and is surrounded by totally fab gardens for the drinks reception. The Palm House is one impressive looking building and will look amazing as a backdrop to your wedding photos!
Rainhill Hall
Do you Want a fairy tale wedding in a Grade II listed Country House? Recently renovated Rainhill Hall Wedding Venue is set in stunning woodland and will be the perfect setting for your outdoor summer wedding. Stepping into the magical woodland, lit with magical fairy lights, as you walk over a carpet of flowers can only be the stuff of wedding dreams. As your Liverpool wedding photographer, I will be there to capture the moment you say “I do”. Wedding guests and newly married couples have the chance to stay at some very unusual accommodation. With Treehouses and waterside cabins to choose from, Rainhill Hall is one of the most stunning outdoor wedding venues in Liverpool.
Thornton Manor
Thornton Manor was home to William Lever, one of the most famous industrial philanthropists. With not only the Manor house to choose from you are in wedding paradise at this most stunning outdoor wedding venue.
The massive estate is home to 4 different venues to make your wedding day one to remember. Each location has the option of an outdoor wedding ceremony, so it’s just a case of choosing the right one for you. For those with a bigger budget, there is the main Manor house. It is a truly breathtaking setting with stunning rooms such as the Dining room and Music room. If you want a Lakeside setting there is the Lakeside Marquee which is nestled beneath the treetops in the extensive grounds. The perfect setting for a tranquil and romantic wedding.
Set in the magical wooden Dell, the Dell Pavilion is the perfect location to tie the knot. This intimate venue is a unique and special setting for your wedding day.
The Walled Garden Marquee is last but not least of your options at Thornton Manor. Set in a secluded garden and surrounded by two acres of beautiful countryside, your wedding photos will look fabulous with such a grand setting.
West Tower
One of my personal favourite wedding venues, West Tower Country House is a beautiful outdoor wedding venue that needs serious consideration for your wedding. The idyllic wooden pagoda is set in the idyllic landscaped gardens, your aisle is a perfectly positioned path leading you to your groom. West tower has in my humble opinion possibly the best customer service of any wedding venue I have shot at. They really are that good.
