30 James Street wedding Photography | Ann Marie & Mark

I loved being a wedding photographer at the wonderful 30 James street wedding venue. I was really chuffed to be photographing Ann Marie & Mark’s wedding. 30 James street has lots of interesting features and natural light to make creative compositions with your camera. As a Liverpool wedding photographer it’s such a pleasure to photograph at fantastic venues like 30 James Street.

PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS AT 30 JAMES STREET

Since opening, 30 James Street has been one of the most popular wedding venues in Liverpool. It was such a pleasure to photograph there. 30 James street is in my Top Wedding Venues in Liverpool. Completed in 1898 and built for the Ismay, Imrie and Company shipping company, which later became the White Star Line. The building was used as the hub for the RMS Titanic and where the ship received its orders! The amazing White Star Grand Hall was used as the first-class lounge and ticketing office for the White Star shipping company. This building is really steeped with history and is a fantastic place to have a wedding and be a 30 James Street wedding photographer.

The Liverpool bride had her bridal preparations in the Presidential Suite with her bridesmaids and flower girl. The groom was also getting ready at the hotel with his best man and pageboy. The girls looked stunning after having their hair and makeup applied. After the flowers arrived the bride was helped into her wedding dress. Ann Marie’s flowers were very beautiful, Find The Perfect Flowers For Your Wedding Day. It wasn’t long to go before the ceremony! The bride and groom’s big day was getting off to a great start! I love capturing special moments for my clients; it’s such a rewarding job being a wedding photographer. 30 James Street has loads of interesting features and great light to help create some interesting compositions with my camera.

CIVIL WEDDING CEREMONY IN THE WHITE STAR GRAND HALL

The groom was looking nervous as he waited in the magnificent White Star Grand Hall, which was being used for the civil ceremony. A wedding ceremony full of tears of joy from the guests and bride, and emotional exchange of rings and wedding vows which were a real buzz to photograph. After tying the knot there were few laughs during the signing of the register. The happy couple were presented with the marriage certificate before walking back down the aisle together in newlywed bliss!

RELAXED  STORYTELLING PHOTOGRAPHY

We photographed the confetti throw in the White star grand hall and then it was up to the Carpathia restaurant for the drinks reception of champagne and canapés. Lots of lovely hugs from the guests for the newlyweds! A quick set of family group photographs and it was back to the White Star Grand Hall for the wedding breakfast. The bride and groom entered the room to massive cheers and whistles! After the toastmaster had toasted the newlyweds we had some amazing and hilarious speeches from the Groom and the best man. Using the great doorway of the hotel and the brilliant staircase we shot some great portraits of the couple with off-camera flash.

The Wedding day always seems to go so fast and it was soon time to cut the cake and the first dance!! Another amazing wedding day with a very special couple and I loved photographing every minute of it!  I loved being a wedding photographer at 30 James Street it really is a fantastic venue to shoot at.
