My Approach Or ‘The Moment’

As a Wedding photographer I really enjoy meeting people and getting to know what makes them tick. It is an essential element to my photography.
Learning about my clients helps me to create the images I think they would like and also gets me one step closer to their emotions which I am trying to capture in that ‘Moment’.So before the big day we will have met on at least two occasions.
As the day itself unfolds and I become a part of the wedding,it then becomes eaiser to take more candid shots of everyone present.

In regards to my portrait photography work, again it is important that I meet my clients before the shoot so that they can talk about themselves. This gives me an insight into how to photograph them.

In My work photographing children, It is even more important to put a child at ease in my company before any work is done. We will talk until I feel the child is is comfortable and at ease and so ready to start the session. It is then an easy task of capturing something of them in a photograph as they are happy and relaxed.

In regards to the Event Photography it is about being unobtrusive and not getting in the way of people,. its just nice to come away from any job and have a candid image of someone (especially children) which captures the essence of the 'Moment'
