HI, I'm David Walters. I work around the North West & the U.K. My style of photography is called documentary wedding photography. For a more detailed explanation of what documentary wedding photography is, go to my home page.
My approach to your wedding is really simple. You have one of the best days of your life with your family and friends. I will capture all of the best bits - the love, the laughter, the tears and the joy, with no interference or fake set up shots. You get to enjoy your day stress free, and I photograph all the love.
My clients book me because they know I will work quietly in the background capturing the day's events to create a truthful story of your day. A lot of my clients comment on the fact that they were not aware of my presence for most of the day. Go to my kind words page to see what people say about my work.
I am really good at making people feel at ease and a lot of my clients also comment that it felt like I was one of the guests who happened to have a camera!
A lot has changed in wedding photography, and the days of lots of formal line ups is thankfully over. I will photograph the main groups - your parents, the bridesmaids and groomsmen. I am great with a crowd and will keep you amused as I photograph the formals quickly, so you can get back to enjoying yourself.
My aim is to make your day as fun and stress free by simply being as invisible and unobtrusive as I can. Your wedding should be about having fun, not being held captive by a bossy photographer.
You have spent a lot of time and planning to look amazing on your wedding day, and I want to capture the two of you looking fabulous together. We will spend a short time capturing some relaxed couple photos, there will be little or no direction, just the two of you having fun together as I capture the love and connection you share.
For couples who are a little more camera shy I offer an engagement shoot, which will show you how relaxed and unposed your couple shoot will be. I guarantee you will have a laugh and build your confidence in front of the camera!
You can see how I shoot a full wedding by heading over to my wedding photography blog.
